Let’s bring back the local farm:

Everything we grow, we grow with the future in mind. Not tomorrow, or next week or next month. We mean decades in the future - the future when our kids finally ship us off to a home because “mom keeps wandering off to the upper pasture” kind of timeline. We’re in this to make our little patch of ground better for future generations, which means no pesticides, no chemicals, minimal tillage and only organic products. We want to work with the land not against it.

But that kind of commitment is not a simple one. Living at more than 5,000 feet means we see our fair share of crazy weather. Tomatoes in May? Probably not going to happen. Hail and hoppers? You bet.

It might never be easy, but we want to make local food less of an anomaly and more of a staple for everyone. We want to change the way we think about food, rely less on others and more on ourselves.

Forget kale from California. Montana kale is better. Try it for yourself.

Serving Pony, Harrison, Ennis, Three Forks, Cardwell, Manhattan, Belgrade, Bozeman, Virginia City, Sheridan and Twin Bridges.

We now accept SNAP!

SNAP customers can double their purchase on local produce with the Montana double SNAP dollars.

Get on the list:

Here’s how our 2022 CSA (community supported agriculture, aka, you’ve got a new farmer friend) works:

  1. Reserve your spot:

Signing up allows us to plan ahead in our planting and plan our delivery route so we can bring you the freshest produce. This year we are offering home delivery in Pony, Harrison, Three Forks, Manhattan, Belgrade and Bozeman. We will offer a delivery to a central pick up location in Ennis, Virginia City, Sheridan and Twin Bridges. Our buy in fee helps us cover seed cost and mileage for the summer. For those with home delivery we request you supply your own cooler, which we will sanitize and pack weekly with fresh produce (we have a few extras for anyone who may need to borrow one).

$35 BUY IN FEE: Harrison, Pony, Ennis, Virginia City, Sheridan, Twin Bridges

$40 BUY IN FEE: Three Forks and surrounding area

$60 BUY IN FEE: Manhattan, Belgrade, Bozeman

2. Get weekly deliveries

Starting in early June (weather dependent) we will grow, harvest, wash and pack a selection of our certified organically grown produce. Each delivery will be a combination of produce ready for harvest, valued at the weekly subscription rate, at minimum. While we strive to bring you a varied selection each week in variety, taste and color, we are also mindful of the seasons. So early season, expect more cool season vegetables such as spinach and warmer season vegetables, such as green beans at the end.

Unlike a traditional CSA, we don’t have large up-front costs - just our buy in fee to help get us rolling. And if we don’t deliver or if a crop fails, you don’t pay. We will send invoices bi-weekly so subscribers are able to work within their regular food budget.

$28 PER WEEK FOR PRODUCE FOR 4

$21 PER WEEK FOR PRODUCE FOR 2

3. NEW! Need eggs, bread, or meat?

Alerts will be sent in advance and subscribers will get first pick on additional items such as farm eggs, bread or whole chickens. Add any additional items from our farm store prior to the delivery day and we will drop them off with your CSA share.

Deliveries will continue for 12-14 weeks dependent on weather conditions. We will alert subscribers as we near our first delivery date.

On delivery day, we will sanitize the cooler on site and pack in your produce, adding ice as necessary. No need to be present at time of delivery.

For those living in Ennis, Virginia City, Sheridan and Twin Bridges, we will alert you of the day and place to pick up your box.
